Sheridan Park Character Education

Each student has the opportunity to be chosen for “Student of the Month" and every month has a different criteria for the “Character Trait” award. Those students whose behaviour demonstrates the month’s criteria will be chosen and the recipients have their picture placed on a certificate proudly displayed on our “Student of the Month” bulletin board in the front foyer. These students are acknowledged and handed their certificates at our monthly/term awards assembly and their names will be published in our monthly newsletter.

Our Skyhawk/Ecohawk students earn character trait "dog tags”, also on a monthly basis. These tags are given out to students who demonstrate and model these traits. Students will be able to collect all ten tags over the course of the year.
